The instances of racism are subtle, the kind of occurrences that plenty people of color blow off everyday. It's the middle aged white guy who says "My Man" every time that he sees a Black man who he feels is his friend. It's the constant sports references that many Black men have to shoulder or the "sizing up" they have to endure. The movie's main character Chris, played by Daniel Kaluuya, is plagued by these uncomfortable instances while visiting his girlfriend's parents for the first time. To make things worse, the parents have no idea that Chris is Black. . . or so he thinks. Check out the trailer below!
